I really like taking my time and slowly and carefully crafting my work- and sometimes time is of the essence!!!
In the "we need it now" category is a prop for my daughters marching band Alice themed show. Note that this is NOT a likeness of HBC from Burton's Alice- rather it is the same character costuming on a likeness of the high school actress from the band portraying The Red Queen for the show (who happens to have a lovely shaped head- this is def a caricature!)! Cos y'all KNOW I draw some HBC like there no tomorrow!
So this what I did with some glitter and about 5 hours hahahahaha charcoal sketch then acrylic on a very dry and unprimed18x24 bit of wood board from Lowe's!
